Perspective

 

 

This post is about 2 weeks late but better late than never right ;) For those who don't follow us on insta (@thefeatherjunkie) we recently headed to Magic in Vegas....we did not set up but went because we have something else up our sleeves that we can't share just yet.  On the way we stopped in Sante Fe and the Grand Canyon. All was incredible... the canyon was nothing that words can describe and Sante Fe...who doesn't love shopping downtown.

Traveling is something that we love doing and we were so happy to have our summer intern and her sister tag along and experience everything with us. Being out in the open road always opens our eyes to new things.  Maybe it was the desert and the crazy sunsets out there but there is something freeing about living with the bare necessities that gives you a different perspective on life. When you strip out what society perceives that you need and get down to what life is all about you see things clearly, differently. Our perspective came from sitting at the top of the Canyon... we came back and decided to cleanse. Mind, body, soul everything. Currently still in the process but its coming along. Started off with getting back into working out and eating clean, going to redecorate our living space and throwing out the clutter, donating half the clothes in our closet and the list goes on.

I challenge you to find some new perspective today. Turn your phone off and go watch the sunset, or whatever it is you decide to do... do it without your phone and do it outside. If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.
